I do fancy Dorset but not for this particular break. If you have any recommendations then that would be great. It is somewhere I would like to go. I normally go to Cornwall for my hols but I am looking at other locations for next year as I want to do something different.
I think we will be going back there in September. If we get our bell tent by then. As the pitches are nice and large. If you can use their restaurant. You wont be disappointed. Good luck wherever you go. Geoff
You're right Mucker. I missed that. Boo! That's what I keep finding. Either hardstandings or no tents. Never mind. Thanks for letting me know or I might have been disappointed trying to book there.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I am at York Caravan Park at the moment, very quiet site, there are tents opposite me with electric on grass, it's adult only as well. There is a bus every half hour into York, has the most immaculate shower/toilet facilities.....can't really go wrong here

Always worth a phone call. There have been a few sites listed that state Caravan/Motorhome only - but will still take tents.
Here's another one for you - Serenity at Hinderwell, a few miles north of Whitby. Predominantly adults only, all grass pitches, with or without ehu, very quiet, nice views over the countryside and a nice pub/restaurant right across from the site entrance.

I have a very temperamental personality - 50% temper and 50% mental
If you fancy Blackpool by any chance here is an adults only site to which they have grass pitches with electric hook up behind the touring hard standing pitches.
