Push button showere are not a problem so long as they are set up so that the water lasts at least 30 seconds before it switches off. Really annoying if you have to press the button every 10 seconds!

Have been to many campsites that have push button and temperature control. Don't see the problem!

Much prefer free flowing showers that are free of charge (or included in pitch fee obviously). 20p's drive me crazy, especially with three kids!

I have so far avoided sites that have token or 20p showers. You try doing that with 3 children and not having them slot the 20p's down the water drain!!!

When we have showers at home (as opposed to a bath or wash) we turn the water off when putting shampoo on / shower gel on. Then turn the water back on to wash. Am I right in believing that this would not be possible with a 'token' type of shower? We do this to use less water.

It would probably cost me about £2 for showers when a hair wash (or scrub to remove mud / sand/ grass etc) for us all and only the 20p (£1) for a morning shower. I'd rather pay the extra in site fees.
