There seems to be a fixation that you have to strip on a naturist site regardless of the weather. It is absolutely not the case, naturist sites and resorts are no different to other sites and resorts, the only difference is the dress code in warm weather, but it's funny how the subject can be spoken of by such authority by those who have never been to one.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
This is our favourite.

Both are a fair hike for us (from Gateshead) but both allow us such chilled out and relaxed holidays that it takes me months to get back into the swing of real life.
When you take off your clothes it's like shedding the cares of the world from your shoulders.
The problem is when we stop at an overnight on the way home and remembering that we can't just walk to the toilet block with out getting dressed first.
The sense of freedom is fantastic. We have enjoyed a weekend at White Rose near York and hope to go again this weekend, weather looks a cracker. Outdoor pool to boot. Clothes are the most unnecessary things when the temperature is near 80, and naturists are the most unjudgemental and frendly people.
We go to Bolding Way campsite (advertised on this website). Small 'clothes-optional' site & also not far from Holkham beach which has a naturist section. Going again in mid august for 4 nights midweek. Most guests are naturists so you can feel free to wander around the campsite & facilities in the buff as you please. Only a small site but very nice & good facilities. Has sauna, hot tub etc for small additional charge. We love it :)

Was in Holkham late May but couldn't find the naturist part of the beach....
