IMHO VERY wide of the mark Ian! I estimate my summer daily usage at around 1.5kWh, perhaps 2kWh if I'm heavy on the hot water usage! It's only a 10 litre capacity hot water tank with a 900W/1.8kW heating element! - takes around 20 mins to heat to highest 60C temp possible! I only set mine to highest temp if I'm using the onboard shower, otherwise for general hot water it's only set to 40C setting and then only when I'm occupying the van. If I'm not in the van, about the only electrical demand is the battery charger!
Occasional use of 800W cooker hob for 10 mins or so, 1kW on microwave for no more than a few minutes in total. All other power demands are very low and only for a few hours, so absolutely NO scope for 6-7kwh per day!!!!!!!

The CLs should always be cheaper than the full Club sites, with far fewer overheads: no teams of Managers to pay salaries for a start, no permanent office to light & heat, probably no Wi-Fi, etc.
Independent sites can be just as high a standard as Club sites, they don’t have Head Office staff & overheads etc to pay for and are still (just) in the £20s pn for hardstand, toilets, showers. EHU.
The rising cost of diesel has increased the cost of our trips away, but we still go.
