Bizarre indeed. or maybe it's envy...? (wouldn't be the first time I've encountered it)

Yes, I laughed hard at 'Mizhog' too though I've no idea what it is... as for being a "child-hater..."  is that the best they can come up with...? What are they afraid of?

Just because I like the peace and quiet of a childfree site? Oh dear....

If "parenting" makes you that bigotted and blinkered, then it's another reason to be glad I'm not one.

I've booked today to go to Canal Side near Whitchurch . Never been before but it sounds good. We're going August Bank Holiday weekend, so hopefully it'll be just a little less frantic and more relaxed than some sites on a busy weekend.

Liz have a fantastic time at Canal Side

Thanks Cat . I'm sure we will.

I also enjoy family sites and spend most of our camping trips on them, I have nothing against children. However equally if I find an adults only site that fits what we're looking for location and amenity wise, then I'll have no hesitation in staying there. They do tend to be a bit quieter which is great if you're looking forward to a lie in.

Same here Liz love family sites as well  We camp where ever suits us best be it large/small site, with ehu or not, adult/or children site, near a town or the country, near a river or canal ..... etc etc.  Lol we have had people smile when we say we are staying at an adult only site.....

Our children can come with us to adult only sites now ......

Have fun camping everyone where ever you chose
