Which reminds me, the pipe for our hoover is missing, and I must ask OH AGAIN to get the beach tent out of the loft!

Well...that positive thinking didn't work too well...it rained! Every...single...day!!! Still there was one afternoon of sun in the whole week so mustn't grumble...what I MUST do is book another holiday when the weather's finally decided what it's doing...if funds allow:(

Back from Cornwall on Saturday and pleased to report that it didn't rain all the time and I even went in the sea once! Now have 2 more pairs of mock crocs, and OH even has a pair.

Hi everybody, we had a great time, we had a few wet nights with bad winds and the tent stood up to it all.  we had scattered showers on tues & wed morning and thats it, by lunchtime it had cleared and was quite warm, we went to the beach 4 days out of the 7, the day we arrived it was 27 degrees and we even managed to get on the beach that afternoon. We are very lucky with the weather. We loved the IOW that much we are planning to return next year. The wife & girls have some of those crocs and they love em.  sorry Fad64 that you didnt get nice weather.
