We used to love the selection of Pate from Throwers in Ludham village, they were made by The Patchwork Pate Company, and really good quality, nothing like the supermarket stuff, and with some nice fresh baked bread, and maybe a piece of speciality cheese from the same Deli, we have enjoyed many a lunch sitting at the side of Womack water on the benches, even better if you take a nice chilled bottle of Aspinals Blush to wash it all down

I wasn't that far away from you today Lassie, I went to How Hill at Ludham for the garden open afternoon.

I went to Fairhaven water gardens this morning and tbh was quite disappointed - 'water gardens' to me suggests ponds with lillies and beds of bright flowers, maybe a fountain or two, but that's just all woodland with hardly any colour. And the inner broad is spectacularly uninteresting - no boats except the trip boat, just a huge expanse of reed-fringed water. In contrast to Fairhaven the How Hill gardens are lovely and I was well impressed - Fairhaven cost £6 which I thought was expensive but How Hill was only £3 and well worth the money.
