hello all 

i"m having trouble finding a campsite where i can fish the river severn .

just a basic one will do all thopugh i could do with a pub on or near the site for obvious reasons . if anyone knows of in and around the middle sever let me know please

How near the river do you want to be? There is a site called the Sytche at Much Wenlock which is an easy drive to Ironbridge, there is also one right by the river on the west side of Shrewsbury, can't remember the name, will look it up. Has a pub right by it and is frequented by fishermen.

How about Lickhill Manor? the river runs right through the campsite, it's a lovely campsite. Here's a link there are lots of reviews to read. Hope I've done the link properly this time!!

 You will not be able to fish the river severn at this time of the year as it is CLOSE season March 15th till June the 16th.

Bank Farm Bewdley, there are several caravan and camping sites going down towards Worcester too.

 brummie Try the Ketch at  Worcester, theres a pub just down the road, and the Severn runs at the bottom of the site.

The Unicorn Pub at Hampton Loade nr. Bridgnorth, literally on the banks of the severn, pub on site and even steam trains!
