Hi All,

I know some people have had problems with sites taking bookings for large tents.

I was wondering if anyone with an Outwell Indiana 8 has had these problems or do you find most sites will happily accept this particular tent.

Roy.

Hiya

We have an Indy8 and have never had a problem. Mind you we tend to stick to C&CC sites and always ring up just to double check. The main problem we've had in the past is our trailer...7ft high, 8ft long, 5ft wide ...some wardens pull their faces at it a bit and then give in (in think they think we've gt family hiding in there using it as a caravan!)

When we book we give the minimum footprint the tent requires and most sites are fine as long as they know.

We went to Cornwall last year on a lovely campsite. We have a 8 to 12 berth tent,we had the gazebo placed over the doorway with a ground sheet and windbreaker round our cooker and table and shelves and we still had loads of room. Not a word of complaint. It seems like it is rare to be able to do this now so we were lucky to find a good campsite. It was only £93 for the week with ehu 2 adults and 1 child.Margie

Hi Margie,

I live in Avondale road area.....off Stamford road.

was born in my mum's old house down Montagu street opposite the Peugeot garage

What was so bad about Burton??......I lived there for a short while

a long time ago.

I must admit I would love to live by the sea but I do like all my relatives close by.....maybe one day thou, I think when I leave Kettering it will be to live abroad by the sea.

Hi Roylovell.

We found Burton quite unfriendly,we thaught it would be better than Broughton as it was very quiet there.
