We go to adults only sites for the peace and quiet, we`ve never been let down yet, like Fogey says they are quiet all day and night, absolute bliss. I don`t think Ashes would be suitable for you sjjs 1985, this looks to be very peaceful, we`ll be staying there when we eventually go to the Lake District.

There`s a site in Halifax called Jerusalam Farm you can sit out and drink all night if u want basic and near the river give that a try

or Ashworth Valley Scout camp Heywood But you need to book this  at least 3 day before you want to camp
