For me I'd look at a site with decent sized pitches so we're not really crammed in as I hate that when camping, showers a few so we don't need to queue! nice and clean and preferably free as its less faff than having to mess around with token, money etc, nice clean toilets. And near to a pub or cafe because we're lazy and don't cook in the tent, we have a stove but only use that for making tea/coffee.

Have you had a look at the campsite search feature on this site it is well worth having a look. Campsite choice is purely down to price and personal choice (facilities available) and what you want to geat from your time away. If it is your first time away take some time to consider the reviews as you can easily be put off by a "bad" site as much as you will be totally hooked if you find a "great" site.
