Sounds great, we're off to Ross Park for the first time in the summer hols. Bit apprehensive about the travelling as it will be the furthest we have ventured so far with the caravan and reading the horror stories about the traffic on the M5 during summer hols isn't helping!!
hi,
we stayed at Ross Park 22nd June - 6th July, we arrived after a 540 mile drive & our caravan was pitched & levelled for us which was a great help. the facilities were always spotless, the park itself was immaculate & every member of staff we met were very friendly. we will definetly return in the future even though it is a very long drive for us.

It was our first ever campsite visit late June, I think we have been spoiled as it was excellent, having been there maybe its all downhill from here! By the way I think it is pretty much booked up all the time, lots of repeaters.
just returned from ross park end of june. rained most of the time but our montana 6 kept us dry.Second visit to this lovely site ,beautifully laid out plenty of room, spotlessly clean. asked us to park on car park instead of outside tent to help drain the field,no problem to us but they left a bottle of wine outside the tent for our trouble.Cant recommend this site enough
Does anyone know if they have an area on site where you can park up if you arrive early. Pitches are only available from 12.00 noon and as we're not sure how long the journey will take us timing it right could be tricky.
Ann, I suggest giving them a call and Im sure they will help. Was there end June and they have a visitor car park before the site entrance where you could wait. Dont know how big unit your unit is though. Also on the approach road big Nursery/shop called Fermoys could wait there too.

I kid you not, this will be the best site you will have ever been on, just make sure you have booked as it is getting very popular, stayed there in May and hope to return soon. also if you have a dog they are also well provided for, huge dog walking field ( fenced ) bags are also provided for ceaning up behind them, also a shower / grooming room............Mark
------------- here today , where tomorrow?
yet another full timer,
I know several people that use this site and they have nothing but praise for it and have visited in the last month so looks like you have made an excellent choice. I am all curious now and will have to suss it out when we are next down at our van.
I went to Ross Park for the first time in April for 10 days. I went back for another week in May, and then 1st - 15th of this month. You couldn't find fault if you tried!
Also had brilliant TV signal with Freeview, and free Wifi access. Spoilt for choice once you've been there. I'm looking forward to going back in September!
