I'm thinking of going to Wicks Farm or Nunnington Farm at the weekend.             Does anyone know if there is a pub within walking distance of either of them?

Any other comments from this year's visitors would also be welcome.  And if anyone has been to both - which would you recommend?

Hi,  I doubt much has changed at Wicks Farm since the last review which was October, the site is shut from end of October to March, so has only been open a couple of weeks since the review

Again for Nunnington, last review was August last year and the campsite has been shut since October until last week, so not much would have changed I guess

Thanks Ratty, It's just that sometimes the closed season is when 'improvements' are made or sometimes a change of staff which can alter the feel of the place.

Our friends have just tried to book at Wicks Farm for one week in July and told it was fully booked - so book up quickly if you want to go there. We have booked for July and when I was researching the place the UKCS campsite search reviews mentioned a good family pub nearby - The Black Horse.

Hi Frankie - there's definitely a pub within walking distance of Nunnington Farm. Can't remember what it's called, but it's opposite the entrance to the beach road and does nice food.

Hope you have a good time - the weather certainly looks like it's going to gorgeous! One thing I remember about Nunnington Farm is that it can get really crowded, but I've only been in July. Also the tents are in quite regimented rows, which isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if the sun's shining, these things can be overlooked! Have fun!

Thanks for the info - I've phoned both sites and they both expect to have room if we get there early on Saturday.  Now I just have to choose which one!  Wicks looks like the prettier site but Nunnington is just a walk to the coast - decisions, decisions.
