I am hoping to go to Cornwall in July for 2 weeks with my caravan and fancied Fowey which has been recommended by a friend. I have had a look at the campsites near this area but I am not sure if this area is suitable for my children, girl of 15 and boy of 10. We like to walk, cycle, fish etc and don't like sites with clubs but good shower/toilet block a must. Any suggestions greatly appreciated so I can get booked up asap.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Try Highertown farm at Lansallos. It's across the water from Fowey but very quiet and simple. It's run by the National Trust, and has a lovely Cove a short walk away.
You may need to book depending on when you want to go.(You can get the number if memeory serves me well from the National Trust website.)
There's also a spectacular beach called Lantic Bay not far from there. Polperro is quite near too.
Regards,
Helen.
If you like walking Fowey is great. There is the coastal path of course with some wonderful vews. The Saints Way a footpath from Padstow to Fowey, crossing Bodmin Moor. Quite long for children but you can do bits of it. My favourite is the walk to Lantic Bay and round by the church (can't remember it's name off hand) and back to Fowey via the car ferry.
I have not camped in that area but we are just about to book for the BH at the end of May.
