We are moments away from buying our first caravan and I'd like our first trip out (a weekend) to be a nice chav free one. (Sorry chavs). In Lancashire pref neear ish to a beach and the hills. was thinking Morcombe area, Carnforth?
We have a nearly 4 year old girl and aren't into the big club with kids running wild while parents get drunk and smoke type of club house / bar thing really.
Nor are we into noise all night long.
We have a dog as well that will be comming along.
Site needs to be quiet, tidy, with nice ammenities, a play area, place for dogs to run about, be frequented by nice caravanners, not pikies.
Sorry but we have a bad camping experience once. place was filled with chavs, pikies all getting out their skulls on lager, with music blarring out from all places, and kids you wouldn't put out if they were on fire. And that was just the mornings described!
dreadful place.

Try Riverside at High Bentham, lovely site.
The river runs right through the site and it is very peaceful, very nice people who own it and the facilities are fantastic.
It is just off the old Morecambe road so you could have a trip to the coast if you wanted.
There is a very friendly pub just 10minutes walk away (I think it is the Horse and Jockey if I remember rightly!) who do food and accept dogs.
Val
ps Definately no pikey's!!!
