I notice it gets very good reviews. Towyn is a busy seaside type resort with lots of static parks. We did stay at Ty Mawr once but dibn't like it much. If Henllys wasn't so close to where we live, I would be tempted to give it a try based on the reviews.
we have stayed at henllys loads of times it is a good site but gets very busy at bank holidays and the price has gone up quite alot its got a park for the kids and new toilet block and everything on Towyn rd
We drove in, looked at the tariff & drove out again, went to Ty Mawr,as long as its not a bank holiday the prices are cheap & a holiday is what you make it.

Hi. Not stayed at Henllys in Towyn personally as we only live 15 mins away but being a local I do have knowledge of the site. It is particularly rowdy at nights as the area is often frequented with many local teenagers handing around with no place to go, or cos loads of youngsters go there for a cheap break. Becareful I have heard that vans are targetted by robbers. In fact to be honest unless you are under the age of 22 and you like loud music and are after a good time - I would stay clear.
We stayed about 10 minutes drive away at a site called Roberts' Caravan Park, which is just outside Abergele. This is a lovely quiet site but is only a short drive away from the area you are looking at. Check out the reviews on the camp site search. Can recommend it but it depends what kind of site you are looking for.
we stayed at henllys last year for 1 week, 1st time on this site been on quite a few sites in the area must say its one of the best sites we've been on in towyn, showers and toilet block was spotless, the only downside is there is no park for small children but their is enough entertainment for them close by ie fun fair ,beach, arcades we will certainly visit this site again.
