Has anyone visited this site since recently, went a couple of years ago, the kids loved it but I found it hard work. The website looks promising with new people taking over but I would like to hear from someone who has tried them out before I take the plunge.
Chicken that I am

Sorry Church173 can't update you on Park Farm as it was also a few years since we camped there and I agree with you it was hard work. I would be interested to find out how it is now as the area was lovely and we did have a good time apart from washing and sleeping, which we didn't do either. I can imagine with a litle work it could be a wonderful site.
I visited over the August Bank Holiday, they kept letting people in to the extent that people were camped around the edges of fields outside of the two camping fields, if you went off site and came back your parking space had been filled by a tent, and the loos etc did simply could not cope. Did like having the fires though so am going to try again over half term.
Thanks for your replies will let you know how I get on.

Apparently the daughter and son in law are running it this year, and they have promised many improvements in the running of the site. Look forward to hearing how you get on ! Dont forget to leave a review please when you return
Sorry all, I was wishful thinking, I have just realised our son will have only been out of plaster for two weeks after a fractured ankle and due to the freedom on this site, the reason for going in the first place, we have decided it is probably best to wait to go later in the year when he can join in jumping in the river, climbing the trees etc. So we will be heading off somewhere where we can keep a closer eye on him.
Just come back from a 4 day stay, fri-mon , very busy on saturday, very noisey far too many tents on site,ok friday and sunday, loads of dogs some (loose) , toilet and shower block in serious need of improvment or demolision!
