Am I the only one to have logged onto Challborough to be confused and disappointed at No tents, No tourers, No caravans  ......  thought we were on UK Campsites ....

Rained clear by Easter - what about May BH?

Couldn't help responding to this 'cos as a kid we went here and stayed in a chalet so it brings back memories.  It rained, in fact stormed, for the whole holiday and the electric meter ate money.  All I can remember is being soaked to the skin permanently.  I would have been about 7 or 8 I guess so the late seventies.

think you'll find there are several sites in listings that are static only.

It was the first one I had come across - just such a disappointment when read description etc and decided it's the one!

Just have to get used to looking at the icons first as it takes quite a while to go through the different sites in an area - wouldn't it be easier to take them off?

Rain did clear for Easter ...... what about May Bank Hols too!

we went to challaborough bay(park dean hols) last year and wasnt very impressed. the kids hated the kids club they said it was really boring. the beach was really horrible, cant explain the sand but it was like grit, although if you walked (we drove) to the other part of the beach near burgh island the sand was much better
