Hi,

My girlfriend and I are also looking for a lively camp site around the north of england, we're currently looking at sites around Ambleside, north Lake District but a lot of them mention 'curfews' and a lot of the reviews are saying most camp sites are quite strict.  We'll obvously respect wherever we stay but I don't want to have to turn the lantern off at 10.30pm, we'd both rather have the beer fully flowing!

Looking for somewhere over the Bank holiday weekend next week so if you find any please let me know......might even see you there seen as you mentioned beer.

Cheers.

If you want the the ultimate rave and and the biggest pxxx up of ya lives mixed with campers, cavers, ravers, climbers, pot holers , hells angels, para gliders, crag rats, down hillers and most of all beer monsters go to the Hill Inn, Chapel-le-Dale, Ingleton. Trust me I'm local and have done it for many years. Things are soft now, but when I was a kid it was 24hr fun no restrictions!!!

Sorry to reply again but, If you cant find room on the Hill Inn car park make your way up the road to the Station Inn at Ribblehead only a mile further on. Again another amazing night out, dont expect noisy night clubs etc, but you'll have the best night ever with friends etc. plenty of room to camp under the viaduct.

Make sure you dont have too much food at the Hill Inn and get stuck in that cartwheel!
