Yippppeeee......................ANOTHER Bank Holiday!!!!

We've managed to book EXMOOR HOUSE Caravan Club Site in Dulverton on Exmoor for this weekend.  Been onto the camp site search but no reviews been posted as yet.  Anybody stayed here recently?  We know it's a short walk to Dulverton itself but what are the pubs like - doggie friendly we hope?  Any ideas on nice walks in the area?

Where are the rest of you guys going this weekend?

Weather is supposed to be OK.......til Friday, typical - fingers crossed it lasts until at least Monday!!!!

Hope you have a lovely time and let us know how it was on your return. We went to Dulverton last year to shop whilst staying in Somerset and the site looked so nice I went in and got their brochure and details. The town was really pretty and you will be able to walk to all the restaurants, pubs and shops but in a lovely site.

I would book to go there if I was in the area but would join first as it would be cheaper. We belong to the other club!

You are welll located for Tarr Steps, Lymouth & Lynton with Valley of the rocks.

Plus loads of walking over Exmoor itself.

We stayed at lakeside at Easter and enjoyed the area very much, you should find plenty of dog friendly pubs we did.

Romaway: We're members of both clubs but find we use the CC club sites the most - easier to book online, etc.

Adrain461: We'll pitch up and not move the camper all weekend so will only go to places within walking distance, but great to hear there are dog friendly pubs nearby - a must for us campers, especially if it rains (perish the thought)!!!!!

Exmoor House Update:-

What a fab little site.  A real gem.  The usual VERY HIGH Caravan Club standards and loads within walking distance.  Didn't move the camper all weekend!  I'm gonna write a review - we were very impressed!
