Byreside, not a CL but £9.50 a night with EHU and a very clean and tidy site. Only downside is that the facilities are across the walk/cycle track (old railway line). About 15 minutes to Beamish. I have added a review.

Rag Path Cottage, Esh Winning, Durham is a few miles away, but a lovely secluded site.  0191 3730451 with hook up.  Excellent fish and chip shop in Esh Winning!
