hi
we live in teesside and would love to find some where about an hour or two away from us that we could visit on a weekend. Can anyone suggest some where that maybe has fishing on it as well (just to keep the men happy) also something for 3 teenage girls and boy (although not your typical ones, quite happy being quiet) I know we are lucky lol.
thanks PLEASE HELP BECAUSE AT MOMENT ONLY ABLE TO GO AWAY FOR LONG TRIPS.
GREG

Hi, what about Thirklby Hall near Thirsk, they have a fishing lake. We live in Hartlepool and our favourite is the White Water Caravan Club site in Stockton, no fishing but only 10 mins away and nice pub next to site.

hi
thanks never thought of Thirklby Hall will give it a try. The White Water Caravan Site only 2 minutes from us so not really worth us packing up ( kids wouldn't be impressed as you can appreciate Lol)
thanks

Woodhouse farm at winksley near ripon is nice with fishing on site.

Our favourite at the minute is Cote Ghyll near Osmotherley. We're in Teeside too an its probably only a 25-30 min drive away. Its a really nice site but there's no fishing on site. Its an easy walk up to sheepwash and the resevoir and 5 min walk into the village.

Its a couple of years since we were at Brompton on Swale but we really liked that site too.
Hope you find somewhere
Lorna
