I went past this site at Easter on my way to Settle,thought it was a bit far to walk for a pint at night,but glad you enjoyed it

We enjoyed this site when we stayed on it a couple of years ago but we are reluctant to go back because of a large group of families together were camped opposite us, they turned their pitches into the ok corral with windbreaks and gazebos connecting them all and then drank from 3pm until midnight when they decided it was a good time to get the Kariokee machine out. Not the sites or the owners fault I know but it does make you think again about going back.

The facilities I found were excellent but, as is typical with most sites they are sited in the caravanning area where they are needed least and not in the tenting area where they are needed most, and although not a great distance they were a fair walk if you had a problem with the steep wooden steps up the bank or didnt fancy using them in the dark. Another thumbs up for the food in the village pub as well. Excellent.

We went to Gallaber park last year, I thought it was lovely.

I dont have a problem with the men cleaning the toilets.....let them get stuck in I say!!!

as long as you go in and lock your door shouldnt be a problem.

we got stuck on the field as it was autumn time and it was muddy, we too were i nthe bottom half....but a seasonal tourer helped us out, we only went for a weekend as hubby had a bird of prey day at coniston hotel

I couldnt fault it to be honest, park was nice, facilities were nice, pubs up road.....not that we bother anyway!!

but yeah loved it.
