Yes it has a decent play area and i have been three times this year already and cannot fault the location, tranquility and excellent clean shower/toilet blocks etc.
The park has plenty of cycling and walking routes as well as a recreational area and you can hire bikes too. Top marks from me and generous size pitches.

The CC site there has a play area, the CCC site there does not.
Dont think the c&cc site is there now as its not on web site. As far as i can see,yes its play area is suitable for the very young. Agree it does get very busy but never feels that way.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

It was there in March when we were on the CC site.
Clumber park cc has a small basic wooden style adventure park with a ball section to the side we have been there this year and although it is quite close to home we love it as you could not pick a better place to relax.Near by town retford is a quite nice which has an asda , morisons, outdoor market and nearby sundown adventure land is great for kids up to 8'ish also I would recommend taking the bikes and buying an ariel extension from the shop around a tenner as it's poor tv reception also mobile phones don't work [peace and quiet]fish and chip van on fridays is a nice touch
