Has anyone been here? it's a caravan club site and it looks as though it is a bit out of the way and quiet but that waould suit us, anyone got anay more info?

If not mistaken it is near Saltwick Bay. Not sure so would recommend check first. If it is the one it is on top of the cliff and can be gorgeous in sun but nitemare in the wind.

It's not that one, Low Moor is well out of the way a few miles inlamd from Whitby. It's a good few years since we were there but when we did go it was a very pleasant and very quiet spot with a lot of very sheltered pitches. It's very quiet up there nothing at all in the immediate area of the site. We enjoyed our time their.

We are going to CC site (Low moor) at the end of May for four nights - It has no toilet block but this fact never put us off before and although we have not stayed on this site we have visited the area on numerous occasions unfortunatly always had to drive back home at the end of the day until now

Last time we visited Whitby parking was a nightmere - has anybody has any suggestions eg bus train best place to travel in from etc ?

Hi we like to visit Whitby and have always managed to park at the Westcliffe side of Whitby on the cliff top near the arch made by the whales jaw bones. Hope you enjoy Low Moor.

Thanks for all the info, we have decided to give Low Moor a miss and we have gone for West Ayton near Scarborough instead.
