Hi brobin,
Wish I had better news for you, there isn't anywhere! If you intend coming into Chiswick by train then probably the most straightforward journey would be from this site in Epping http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1384 It's on the wrong side of London but you could park at Loughton station which is on the central line and then you'd just have the one change onto the district line.
If you wish to drive in (and you'd be nuts to consider this during peak periods) then you'd be better off staying in Maidenhead (Berkshire). There are two sites here which you will find using the 'camp site search' button at the top of the page. It's then a straightforward drive in down the M4. This would be my choice as it's such a lovely area. If your destination is anywhere near the High Road though you'll have problems with parking, probably a twenty minute walk!
Here's a link to show you what a great place Chiswick is.
