Good morning all.

I am planning to take a few days off at the end of this week and have decided, together with wife and two little ones to spend a few days on the Pembrokeshire Coast.

Can anyone please recommend a good tenting site with decent facilities which is family friendly but has a considerate policy when it comes to late night noise. Ideally, this will be close to some decent walking and not too far from a nice beach.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Richard

There re quite a few Pembrokeshire sites coming up on the Campsite Search.  Not all of them are by the coast but most of the sites have reviews.

Hi,

I live in Pembrokeshire so i hope i can be of some help.

Next door to us is Nolton Cross caravan park.  Its about 2 minutes drive from the beach and has a childrens play area and good facilities.

There is a campsite at Newgale which is opposite the beach and next to the pub :0)There is a shop near by and 2 cafe's.

But as others have said there are quite a few on here but as a local these are the two i would reccomend!

Hi,

I live in North Pembs which is rather quieter than South.  South is great for the parks eg Oakwood (great for older & younger kids), Folly farm ( younger kids will love) although only an hour or so from the North.

There are a few parks up here, one near Fishguard which has the most amazing views (as you'd expect on the cliff edge).  It is a lovely park with shop and would be a ideal base if you enjoy walking the coastal park.  Five minutes drive up the road you have several beaches, some small and one on the big side (Newport).

Worth a mention though, the weather is awful here at the moment and winds rather strong.

We're off up to North Wales in the morning but have a feeling we may be doing a u-turn if the same up there as here.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Didn't mean to confuse you, Oakwood and Folly Farm are theme parks not campsites
