We are off to North Cornwall hopefully, the first week of July, camping plus dog for a week.
Can anyone recommend a good campsite - peaceful, not an " all singing all dancing" site, just clean loos etc and nice pitches with EHU nearish the beaches.
I did think of Rosebud Farm in St Teath, but there are no reviews for it.Any other suggestions?
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Stayed here for few days before Easter - lovely clean site, 300 yds from beautiful dog friendly beach, very welcoming owners, It is between Newquay & Padstow & has lovely walks along cliff paths to both places via fantastic coves & beaches. Nothing on site aprt from WC's/showers but shop & pubs at beach! Website says still vacancies for 1st week in July - but hurry & enjoy!!
If you can't get in that one, you could try Trevella, Crantock, just west of Newquay.
We've stayed here about 10 times over the last 25 years and never been dissapointed.
From the site you can walk cross-country to the costal path (about a mile I guess), from there you can walk along side of the estuary to the beach and from there up to the village of Crantock. With two kids in tow it took us a couple of hours, so if you leave at 11am you can be sat outside the Old Albion pub with a beer and ploughmans at lunch time...
We have booked here ofr same week. Not sure if they will have room, but excellent reviews on here and very, very helpful and friendly if you call them.
