I know we have left it late --- due to family issues we have not been able to think about a holiday, but now are looking at booking a week w/c 18th August - BUT we cant find anywhere that isnt booked. Does anyone know of any seaside sites with 3 family tent pitches that might be free???? My phone bill is astronomical!! HELP !!!

We stayed at Woolocombe bay park last year in August , booking maybe a month in advance - had no problem finding a pitch then - maybe the same this year - was a great site too, 20 minute walk from 3 mile stretch of blue flag beach - must be one of the best in UK. Nice indoor and outdoor pools on site, great shower and toilet, sauna steam room type block, great views etc only positive things to say about the place really.

Skegness water park rarely fully books as the camping site is huge.

we are off to the rally site nr bridlington. right on the edge of the beach , theres plenty of room , brill location , you can walk to brid along the beach . and the beach is lovely and clean
