Just got back from our 2 night break at Chapel St Leonards. Well we arrived 1.30pm took us most of the afternoon to set up. Woke up to rain Sunday morning, continuous all day, then last night gale force winds and heavy rain. It was quite scary. But awning managed to hold out.Pack up this morning still raining, awning wrapped up and put in the shower room. Now got to wait for a dry day,get all the awning out, rinse and dry it. What a weekend. Kept us busy though. Little boy cried when we travelled home,he loved it.

how did you do ?

regards

Jules x

I'd be inclined to unwrap the awning and put it somewhere that the air can circulate around it as soon as possible.  If you don't, it's odds on that you'll have a moudly awning (and possibly a damp caravan).

Six man tent now spread across the patio furniture to dry out (garden WAY to small to actully erect tent) cat thinks its a new tunnel for him to play in and under.

If you had a good weather for your BH break then very very pleased for you, if you didn't (like us) and it was your first camping trip (not like us) don't be put off it's a great way of having a cheap break we mostly stayed dry. Tent held up to the wind and rain.

Keith
