I haven't stayed there but there are a couple of reviews.

As the C&CC sites are generally run to the same standard, I would imagine you will find the site to be well run with clean loos and showers and quiet at night.

Stayed here in 2003 and echo what has been said. It was excellent, very handy for north and south Cornwall. We had our frame tent (no EHU ) and were pitched at our choice close to toilets/showers.

There are some well sheltered pitches scattered around the site.

Occasionally dined at Asda or Safeway as it was then rather than cook.

OH's Parents used to spend 2 weeks each summer on this site, and we would visit for weekend. I can highly recommend it, pleasant site with good facilities. As others have said Bodmin is a nice little town and you are also ideally located for visiting other areas of Cornwall especially Newquay and Padstow.

Im very jealous and reminiscing all those cream teas and giant cornish pasties

forgot to add an absolute must is a visit to Trago Mills in Liskeard, the most bizarre shop in Cornwall its huge and even has picnic areas outside, It sells all kinds from outdoor stuff to home furnishings. The owner is very Anti Europe and has erected comical statues of politicians outside -very bizarre
