Two Chimneys in Birchington near Ramsgate have a huge field so can take large tents. They also have a very nice pool.

What about Shorefields Merley Court further up the road near Wimborne.

Also, across the road and back abit, from Oakdene is Shamba (look at website). Lovely site with pool and bar , shop etc. Friendliest and cleanest site I've ever stayed at. I'm sure they will find you a big pitch. There were really large tents pitched down by the play area.

shamba is great went last year and had a fab hol  made loads of mates and still in touch with one from cambridge it has club pool takeaway all you need if you dont want to go out oneday only drawback is you nhave to godown ringroad to get to town but cant say it bothered us that much we went with 3 kids 14 12 10 and they made freinds on the play area and didnt complain once it is cheaper than oakdene they are a big group so you will pay more and theres a fair chance it will be packed out

MIght be 1 min getting from Shamnba to Oakdene, but will take longer going back.

Shamba and Oakdene are ona dual carriageway. And when coming from Shamba you can simply use the roundabout, coming in the other direction from Oakdene, you'd have to exit the site and travel down the dual carriageway to turn round.

Must add I've never been there, just past, and I'm using the maps.
