Silver sands in Arisaig if not to far up for you.It is practically on the beach.Great views of Skye and all the small Highlands like Ruim and Eigg.Just a drive away from Mallaig where you can get a ferry to Skye.Or Oban lots of campsites there overlooking the sea and Islands. You will not be dissapointed.

Very nice views from the sites just north of Arisaig, wish we were going there this year, maybe next year. Going to Cornwall for the first time in a couple of weeks time. I like Invercaimbe site it`s right on the beach, and the sunsets are out of this world

(Big) Sands nr Gairloch is a must. The tent area is huge and there are many manicured areas in the "dunes" where you can pitch e.g. in a large patch with others, small patch with others, quiet area on your own.

Nice shower and toilet blocks, good shop that sells fresh bakery items daily, and of course sea/beach view  In addition, you can go whale watching on "green" organised trips nearby.

The campsite at Durness is amazing, about as far north as you can go .You camp on the cliff top and have views over the white sands / turquoise sea to the North. I don't think the campsite is listed on here, it has a pub. A store is nearby.
