Hi all

We're from MK ourselves and are looking for some nice campsites for weekend trips ideally under 2hrs away closer to 1hr would be fantastic.

I've been using campsite search but I thought I'd ask and see if there's any UKcampsite'ers local to me and where you go. I really don't have anywhere in mind so don't mind which direction we go in. We'd only go away for the Friday and Saturday night and we have a tent.

We've never done weekend camping but fancy giving it a go as our 2 little boys love going camping  (so do we).

Thanks.

Hi! We're in Brackley (not too far from you) and do a few weekend trips locally. We stayed at Hardwick Parks near Oxford last Bank Holiday http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1391 which was good (apart from 40 hours rain) and that's less than 1 hour from us. A little further off we also stayed at Swiss Farm International earlier in the year http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1366 at Henley on Thames. Both are on our revisit list and we plan to go to Swiss Farm for the August Bank Holiday.
