I can't recommend this site enough, beats the others in the same area for value, quality and the owners are very helpful.

The toilet facilities are the best i've ever seen, they are hotel standard.

Hi we stayed at poldown campsite at Helston quiet had playground no pubs laundy facilitys fridge freezer even microwave. I havnt botherd with the caravan club I find the u.k. campsite  enough.

It's about 5 miles from Port Isaac. The site is clean, level to slightly sloping and the facilities are meticulously clean with plenty of water points and EHUs.

For the Kids there is a small swimming pool, a games room and a play area with slides and swings etc and one of those plastic activity tree thingies with a face that frightened me !!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot, the showers are free and there are Laundry facilities also.

Can't help with your Cornwall seach but re the Camping & Caravanning Club - may be worth it.

Its £35 ish to join for a year and you get a fab camp site guide. The sites always have decent toilets and showers and they have a quite a good no noise after 11pm rule.  You kind of always know you'll get a decent site.

It's not everybody's cup of tea but personally I would recommend them.

They are usually very friendly - I think they usually do have playgrounds, although I don't have children so have to confess I haven't really noticed them. There are always children about on the sites.

I know quite a few sites have family bathrooms and such.
