has anyone been to nodes point of late just wondered what the drainage is like on the ehu tent pitches given the recent weather

Hi Matty2303,  Have never been to Nodes point but we are going to Lower Hyde two weeks today, when are you going?  It would be nice to think that being Park Resorts sites they have good drainage!

Hi, re your enquiry about Nodes Point, We went last August with a traier Tent , we were on a pitch right down near the beach, the caravan pitches are up the hill so that any rain that you get will soon drain away,

P.S The club was very good, and the breakfast at £1.99 was really worth it.

thanks exhill did you notice where the tent hook up pitches where? was they around the edge of the field?

we stayed a couple of years ago shower block was a porta cabin has been updated  ehu for tents is at the  bottom of a hill okay if is sig otherwise could be bit like glastonbury

thats what worries me the forcast is for an improvement next week though but not by much!

The touring site was updated last year and I am fairly certain that there are EHUs on the terraced area of the site which is further up the slope and should drain OK.  The new toilet block had just opened when I was there in September and is really first rate.

Hope the weather improves for you but at least there will be plenty to do there if it rains!
