Has anyone been to Stanwix Park (Silloth) yet this year? Am returning for the third year this summer and just wondered if anything had changed. Eg. campers kitchen re-done? Also we run out of places to go-any suggestions? And does anyone know of a decent supermarket that isn't miles away?

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Unfortunately, no. The last time we were there was in 1977!   It rained for two weeks, every morning. The rooster and the donkey woke us up every morning but we when we were absolutely skint I won £20 on the Bingo two days before we were due to leave! We had fish and chips from the chippie as a treat! Oh, and the youngest daughter won second prize in the fancy dress. She went as a kleenex tissue - don't ask!

Happy days!   Presumably the site has been modernised over the last 30 years or so!?

Campers kitchen???   "The past is a different country!"

Hi! We went there for May Bank holiday - great park. The rooster is still there and it woke my partner and daughter but not me!! The joys of being deaf!

As for supermarkets? Large Tesco and Morrisons in Workington - not far!

There is a lovely Butterfly farm nearby if you want somewhere different to go..just outside Allonby at a garden centre..
