ive read that campers can just arrive without pre booking. has anyone been recently and had any trouble getting pitched? i like to be near to bushes or summit never fancied the middle of a filed, couldnt imagine just plonking my tent in the middle of any field.....

have u been to this site before?we went last year found it by chance but what an excellent site very well kept tiolets and showers were always well cleaned we loved  it.its a very quiet site and not a lt for kids but there is a play area and a small games room

We were at Flower of may about three weekends ago , the next site to Crows nest and we could hear all the noise from there until well after midnight. A family that had stayed there friday night pitched next to us at Flower of may and they left because of the noise and youths constantly shouting and swearing and urinating on other peoples tents and cars.
