Lovely campsite, I grew up in Paignton which is nearby. The Park is great fun for all, make sure the kids have long sleeves and long trousers on for the slides or they may get friction burns on knees and elbows. The campsite was clean and we never found it to be overcrowded when we have gone but it wasn't high season. Showes and toilets ok and laundry room ok too. I found the food to be quite expensive but it is quite a way out so hardly surprising.
If you are there during Regatta week there are Red Arrows and Fireworks so the town gets mega busy. Paignton, Torquay and Brixham also have regattas with fireworks which is just across the ferry or drive round via Totnes who have an Elizabethan market on Tuesdays.
Make sure you take the time to go to Paignton Zoo and say hello to the Elephants. they unfortunatly lost the giraffes last year in a fire but may have replaced them by now.
Hope you have a great time.
