They have regular pitches too (not hedged though) prices not too bad. The 'deluxe' ones are all inclusive of up to 5 people, lecci, day room or kitchen tent etc and are hedged. They even provide a dustbin, per pitch, which is emptied daily! They also have a fab bathroom block.

The pool at this site is superb, with stunning views of the beach (which is within walking distance, down a steep lane). There are excellent facilities for the kids, too, and lots of space. Downside (which, to us, is actually a plus) is that it is quite remotely situated, so a bit of a drive to the supermarkets.

We've stayed at Polmanter, which is nice too, but feels a little more crowded.

As with all things, it's a case of horses for courses, hence viewpoints are subjective, I realise.

Hendre Mynach, Barmouth (use search facility to find it) - North Wales have hedged pitching areas (2 pitches per section).  Lovely site, great facilities and with easy walking into Barmouth itself.
