I've been going for the last 10 years and go in the long stay camp with the exhibitors.
Camping is all prebooked and the minimum stay is 2 nights (I think booking ends this weekend)
Camping is normally on stubble or rough grass and the loos are portaloos cleaned twice a day and generally a lot better than the ones in the showground. water is from bowsers and as said showers are expensive.
Camping on the site allows you to enjoy the fair and music tents in the evening something day visiters miss out on because the show goes on until after midnight.
Do come it's great fun, Might see you round the playpen or in the RAT.
