I am looking for a campsite for a large group of people ( familys ) we will probably total 20 or so , probably 5-7- tents , we are looking for a campsite in Tenby for the week prior and during the August bank holiday , has anyone got any recommendations ????????
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Our site has a big tent field. There might be space. Without hook-ups you could go right up the other end away from everyone else and wouldn't have to worry about noise (we had a load of rugby boys in tents the other weekend and they were no trouble at all).
Its in a small village called Cold Blow just south of Narberth, about 10 minutes from Tenby. Shower block, laundry, shop and small play area for the kids are all that's there, but its very level and clean. Owner is very proud of his grass!! Brand new shower block with family shower rooms is due for completion in August, and its in the tent field. Wood Office Caravan Park 01834 860565
Its normally a very quiet site, not many people come for the weekend, but August Bank Holiday is the busiest (and noisiest) time of the year - which is why I've sworn to avoid it this year, although I'll probably crack.
You may have a problem booking for a large group in Tenby. We couldnt get anywhere. 17 of us (9 adults and 8 kids) in 6 tents and were told "we don't accept groups" . Booked into Lodge Farm in New Hedges which is between Tenby and Saundersfoot. About 5 minutes drive from site to either of these places. Basic site but cheap. £6 per adult and £2 for children under 9. clubhouse on site not open but nice pub about 5 minutes walk. Supermarket across road from entrance. Kids will love it as site is on a farm with rabbits, goats, guinea pigs, chickens, cows, ducks and a resident turkey!! Showers need updating but water was always warm.
Where the blinkin 'eck is Little Kings? Everyone goes on about it yet in all my travels in the locality I've never come across it! Must be going down different roads.
Correct afbowman, turn off the main road, round a couple of bends, turn right by an old farm,up the hill, crossing over the main road below, left hand bend and its on the left!
