My Friends are in search of a site which accepts tents, is around North England or South Scotland. Has some local places to walk to and is ok for a few nights break

have you tried searching? you could have a look at the yorkshire dales, they are reeeeally nice! or the lake district, even nicer! and if your really brave, take a look at northumberland!
