Local facilities - pub just down the road called The Fighting Cocks. There is a Co-op supermarket and a Tesco's Express in Fordingbridge which is about 2 miles down the road from where you are staying.

.......not to mention that apart from The Fighting Cocks there's a few nice other pubs in the catchment area of Fordingbridge no more than 10-15 minutes away in the car.

Fighting Cocks - excellent pub - lots of home made game dishes, venison stews etc.

Yes I agree Vic there are loads of good pubs. I only mentioned the Fighting Cocks because it is in staggering distance!

Incidently, ground not too bad up there. Stopped the car and got out. Has stopped raining here now!
