Hello Campers

It has been a while since we went camping, our baby was too small last year but now she is 18 months and we would like to give it try.  Can anyone recommend any sites in South East Scotland that cater well for toddlers?  I am hoping to find a bath and my dream is to find a site that has fenced pitches!!!

Fingers crossed!!

Hi Campergirl,  you could use windbreaks to keep your toddler in sight.  I have never heard of fenced pitches.

Look on here for campsites and use the links to go to the websites, they will say if they have a family bathroom or baby room.

Hope this helps

hi campergirl

i would recomend scoutscroft in coldingham. very obliging owners - if in tent you may have to ask for hook-up site and pay the couple of quid extra - but could be worth it. mallard park is bottom groung and i would agree with previous recipient to take at least 2 windbreakers which makes your area yours .  pps. georgeous beach and safe for kids ---

Thank you for your help, I have sent an enquiry to Scoutscroft.

However, I have found a campsite with hedged pitches, Rosneath near Helensburgh on the west coast and have sent an enquiry to them also.

Helensburgh and Rosneath are quite a long way from the coast.

WHAT

Unless they have moved I used to swim in the sea at both these locations.  Roseneath is a lovely site.

Rosneath and Helensburgh are on Gare Loch where it runs into the Firth of Clyde, not the sea.
