come to scotland and i don't think you will have any problem.  even allow dogs in taxi's and ship's.  clyde - my border collie assures me it's good to be a canine camping in scotland !!!

We go to Brean in the summer months, there are always people with dogs in the beer garden -on leads of course. There are huge umberellas out in all pubs so most don't mind sitting outside, there is one pub that allows dogs in though.

Thanks to everyone for your replies.

We are thinking of trying camping in Scotland for a week in either Aug/Sept (neither of us has been to Scotland.  I believe the highlands are lovely, can recommend any good campsites in the highlands?  And give me any advice of where to visit?
