Hi

follow the signs as normal to Barnstaple, then follw the signs to Braunton and the bypass brings you out near the 10 pin bowling and go karting places.

Have a great holiday!

 Hi Mark and Karen

We too are going to ruda the last week in august( 18th for 15 nights) we have been for the last 3 years with friends, are you lucky enough to be in the top field? We booked last August and could only get in the lower field but hey the kids love it.  Between us we have 12 children (5 families) varying from 8 to 17 and there is something there to keep them all happy, they all love the beach( if you go through the caravan site to the beach or from Croyde you come to the beach near a river and younger kids love to play in here very safely, whilst the older ones can enjoy the body boarding. Putsborough is a lovely beach, we too will check out Lee Bay and we will look at Watermouth castle on the net to see if its worth a visit.

Like others say lots to do in an evening if you want go to the club, younger children love it, older ones find their own new friends, or just take in the evening air outside.

Pool complex is fun, remember to book tickets before you go and save 25p for each person swimming, books are in 10s and as long as you book before arrival you get the discount.

Hope you enjoy your week, sorry don't know of any seafood restaurants but the blue groove in |Croyde does nice food and coffees etc.

Hi Amanda, Actually I dont know what field we're in but we'll look out for when we get there, I'm sure we cant miss 5 families with 12 children !! There are 6 of us with 4 children so it sounds like it could be a busy week..

Hi mark and Karen

Did you enjoy your stay. Weather was excellent wasn't it. Where did you end up being pitched in the end.  We have all booked again but for May this year as August is always dark by eight and drops really cold in the evening.  Hope you had a great stay.

Amanda
