Conway touring park is brilliant for Llandudno as they have a great indoor play area and also a new 'teen' area; try getting a pitch on the green area as that's quite close to the pub/club on site, the Swallows Nest, and both the indoor and outdoor play areas. It's a park which is situated quite literally on the side of a mountain and (if it's clear) the views are quite spectacular.
The dry ski slope on the Great Orme is good for either tobogganing or dry ski-ing; the small town of Conway is quite interesting to walk around (but only if the weather is good) and Conway Castle is brilliant. If the weather is typically British (ie. raining) then see what's on at the North Wales Theatre; alternatively as most of Llandudno is under cover or verandah (typical Victorian town) then you could spend the time browsing/shopping.
Hope you have a nice time there Mark - we're only 30 miles from there so call in if the weather gets too bad !!

Hiya
Llandudno itself doesn't have any campsites that I know of :( Because I live in Llandudno I've never camped close by either so can't help on that front, however, its great for shopping. If you want the beach you've a choice of the North Shore (bit busier) or the West Shore.
You can walk/cycle to Conwy from the West Shore along the new cycle path which I do very often, its flat and a lovely ride. Only sticking bit if you're with kids is a short section in Deganwy which isn't completed so you'd need to get off your bikes and walk along the pavement until it restarts.
Alternatively get on the 'open top bus' which takes you all around Llandudno and Conwy and you can hop on and hop off.
In Conwy you've got the Castle obviously, as well as the smallest house and some nice little shops.
If you're national trust members you've got Bodnant Garden (not so much for the kids to do but if they enjoy a walk they'll like it) and Penrhyn Castle which is over near Bangor.
If you've any questions about Llandudno etc, just ask :)

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
hope you have a good time there Mark; just remember to take the short cut down the mountain-side to the Swallow's Nest (OH & me had too much wine and not enough torch power to go down the path one night -"no, really darling, the pub is right around the next corner" -phew !!)
hope you've managed to avoid this awful rain as it's quite bad here in north Wales - enjoy !!
