Hi Pumfretts, sorry to hear the weather was not very kind to you at Sandy Balls. Good weather makes all the difference. Apart from the weather what did you think of the site?

We are off to Holmsley tomorrow morning then going to Butlins in Minehead next week.

Hi Louise, I have put a review on and it got published within days.

We liked the site, our children girl 12 and boy 16 had their bikes and made use of them on the site to get to and from the shop/arcade/pool. Think your age children might benefit more though. 

The Fighting Cocks pub was near enough to walk to and we had a nice drink there on our own one afternoon.

I had a good nose around at all the pitches incase we ever go back, we probably would but the english weather is enough to put you off, I like the idea of splitting up the site so we had no noisey dogs.

If it wasn't for the kids I would only stay on smaller sites and I personally found SB a bit too large.
