All of 'em!
Hi, depends really on what you're carrying and how. I wandered round Europe for a fortnight with everything in my rucksack, just on trains and the occasional bus. Needless to say, I didnt take the Outwell Jamaica camp wardrobe/kitchen sink/cooking tent, inverter, bla de bla de bla, with me. Tent, Karrimat, sleeping bag, randonneur stove/pans, water bottle, few clothes, money. Sorted. Travel light, go wherever you want. Public transport's good, especially trains, you see things car drivers never see, move around the carriages, meet people, feel more connected to the world you're travelling through. It can mean that your route is dictated by the transport system, but that's fun too!
